Correlations

Correlations are very much important when things are interdependent. Lets start with a simple example if you travel regularly 160 km on a train between two cities. The average speed of the train is around 80 km/hr. So it will take two hours to reach from one city to other. If we are confident about the average speed of the train then we can say that distance between two cities is around 2 hrs. So we correlated the distance with time assuming the average speed constant. Correlations are based on some assumption. These assumptions must be realistic and genuine.
